Description

Advantages of breast uplift at Brandeis Clinic

  • We are able to perform breast uplift together with breast augmentation for which we use Polytech, Motiva and Mentor breast implants with lifetime warranty against defects in material and with Motiva breast implants the warranty also applies to a revision of capsular contracture during the first year after the initial surgery.
  • We are also able to perform breast uplift together with liposuction, abdominoplasty or other plastic surgery treatments.
  • Preoperative testing is done at our clinic.
  • “Unlimited” consultation length. We spend as much time as needed to consult our clients, we don´t set any time limits for it. That is the only way our surgeons can suggest the appropriate type and size of an implant which can then provide the best possible result (soft, symmetrical, with nipples on the top and without visible implant edges).
  • High-quality room furnishing, including a top-class LINET bed (following a surgery the quality of a bed plays an important role as the human body parts subject to surgery should relax as much as possible), oxygen masks, sanitary facilities and a TV set.
  • High-quality care, because each nurse attends to the maximum of four patients. All our nursing staff has necessary qualification and certification.
  • Our anaesthesiologist has experience in working abroad and is much respected among his colleagues in the Czech Republic and also in abroad. MUDr. Jan Machač used to administer anaesthesia for example to the Czech ex-president Václav Havel or the members of the Saudi Royal Court.
  • We use the anaesthesia machine Fabius plus, which is considered to be among the best in the world. This machine is designed to precisely dose anaesthetic medicinal gasses, and thus reduces the burden on the patient´s organism and speeds up the recovery. It also ensures proper substance mixing, its preheating and moistening for a very gentle access to the respiratory mucosa and lung tissue. When combining breast uplift and other plastic surgery treatment, the surgery can last up to 4 hours. This means that, compared to treatments with shorter operation time, it is more important for anaesthesia to be gentle.
  • It is possible to pay for breast uplift at Brandeis Clinic in instalments, even if it is combined with other treatments. You can ask the reception staff at our clinic to help you get a loan to cover your plastic surgery.
  • Brandeis Clinic regularly receives excellent evaluation of its cleanness from relevant state institutions.

When is breast uplift suitable?

  • when breasts lose their original size and shape after childbirth
  • when breasts sag due to significant weight loss
  • when breasts lose their shape and firmness due to ageing

Before the treatment

Before the treatment, it is necessary to first consult a plastic surgeon at our clinic. The doctor will perform an examination and evaluate the suitability of the surgery for the specific client. The client will then be informed about the surgery, post-operative regimen and potential risks. Together with the reception desk, pre-operative examinations are scheduled, including an ultrasonographic examination of the breasts, as well as the surgery itself.

During the treatment

Breast uplift is performed under general anaesthesia and takes about 2 hours. Before the surgery, the physician will make photographic documentation of the chest, take necessary measurements and draw lines for operating incisions. The principle is to reduce excess skin, reshape the breast and relocate the areolae to the desired position. We want your post-operative scars to be as small as possible, and therefore close the wounds with a special fine absorbable suture.

The desired breast shape is achieved by the suturing of the incisions. Scars from the surgery are usually located around the areola and underneath, in the shape of an inverted T.To prevent haemorrhaging, drains are introduced (removed the next day) and the chest is fixed with an elastic bandage. During the surgery, antibiotics are preventively administered. The client remains hospitalised at our clinic for 1-2 days.

After the treatment

During hospitalisation, clients are administered painkillers and, preventively, also antibiotics. Within 24 hours after the surgery, the first redressing is performed; drains are removed and an elastic modelling bra is put on. The client wears this bra for 6 weeks. Redressing appointments are repeated until the wounds heal.

Return to work is possible after approximately 2 weeks. For the first 2 months after the procedure, we recommend avoiding strenuous physical activities and lifting heavy objects. Scars will gradually fade over 3 to 6 months. The appIication of New Gel+ silicone patches on closed scars is recommended overnight. Scars can also be softened with the professional Palomar laser available at our clinic.

Who can be treated?

Breast uplift is performed for healthy women over 18 years of age. It is however not recommended for women who plan to become pregnant.
